Ellerbe is cooling off the July heat with a delightful, refreshing complimentary glass of wine the first Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in July during lunch (Ellerbe will be closed on July 4, Friday). Guests can enjoy a glass of a 2012 Elysis Vouvray (the site linked is in French, for those who want to practice) --- among the loveliest vintages produced within a small growing area interspersed between beautiful castles nestled the north banks of the Loire Valley in France. Expect crisp notes of honey and ginger with hints of fig, apples and white flowers. Why not toast freedom during the month during which both the United States and France celebrate their independence? In a Class of Our Own: Richard to Teach Wine Class at TCU

Ellerbe co-owner Richard King will teach a continuing education wine appreciation course at TCU this fall. Formerly taught by Ray Raney, the course includes three classes of 2.5 hours each.  All 40 students will learn from a custom curriculum created by Richard just for this series.
